International Patient Guide: From Booking to Follow-Up

Your health and comfort come first. Here is what to expect at every step of your treatment journey in Ankara.

1. Booking and Preparation

• First contact: You can reach us via WhatsApp, email, or the contact form on our website.
• Pre-assessment: The doctor carefully reviews the photos you send. This is followed by a video consultation where your goals, realistic expectations, and treatment options are discussed in detail.
• Booking and price: To confirm your booking and lock in the price, a deposit of 10% of the total surgery fee is requested, protecting both the patient and the clinic.

2. Travel and Accommodation

• Arrival timing: We recommend arriving in Ankara at least 1 day before surgery so your pre-operative tests can be completed comfortably. If you arrive early in the morning, same-day testing is also possible.
• Accommodation and transfer: We recommend comfortable hotels located near our clinic and partner hospital. You can arrange your own airport transfer, or we can coordinate this on your behalf if you prefer.

3. Hospital and Surgery

• Hospital: Surgeries are performed at Lösante Hospital, known for its well-equipped facilities.
• Companion: We recommend having one companion with you throughout the process.
• Discharge: Discharge takes place in the late afternoon on the day of surgery.
• Communication: Our clinic team is able to communicate in English.

4. Your Stay in Ankara After Surgery

• Length of stay: Staying in Ankara for 1 to 10 days is ideal for the initial recovery period and your follow-up visits.
• Check-ups: Two check-up appointments take place during this one-week period.
• Cast and dressing removal: Dressings and the cast are removed between days 7 and 10.
• Flight clearance: Before your return flight, a final examination is carried out by the doctor to confirm you are fit to fly, and the necessary medical report is prepared.

5. Follow-Up After You Return Home

• Remote follow-up: Our follow-up process continues after you return to your country. You'll be asked to share photos and videos with us on set dates, and we arrange video calls when needed to monitor your progress closely.
• Local support: In case of an emergency or if additional follow-up is needed, we refer our patients to a colleague in their home country and share the necessary medical reports.

6. Cost and Payment

• Pricing: The final price is determined after a photo and video-based pre-assessment, taking your health status into account.
• Payment methods: You can pay in US Dollars, Euros, or Turkish Lira, using credit card, bank transfer, or cash.
• Transparency: Due to legal regulations, our website cannot display package pricing details; a full breakdown is provided in a personalized quote prepared for you.

7. Visa and Official Documents

• Invitation letter: If you need an appointment confirmation letter or invitation letter for your visa application or border crossing, our clinic prepares and sends this to you once payment has been completed.
